Lindsey Poole has been the Director of the Advice Services Alliance since 2013. The ASA represents over 1,500 independent free social welfare legal providers across the UK and in addition to representing the advice sector, our work focuses on partnership working and quality assurance. Prior to taking this role, Lindsey worked as an interim CEO within the advice and pro bono sectors. Although her career started in the advice sector, she has also worked in Criminal Justice, particularly around work with offenders both in government, in probation services and in the voluntary sector. She is a qualified social researcher and has a particular in interest in evaluation and the use of evidence to improve practice.
